One of NNR/USA’s many goals is to keep your cargo safe and do our part to secure the international supply chain. At every link, NNR/USA’s security measures deter the introduction of unauthorized items into, and prevent the loss of items out of our supply chain.
In the national effort to protect traveling passengers, and cargo by truck, sea, and air, NNR/USA participates in many government security programs and is compliant with government transportation regulations.
Customs-Trade Partners Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a voluntary joint government-private partnership that strengthens the overall supply chain and border security. NNR/USA is C-TPAT validated as an Air Consolidator/NVOCC and as a Customs Broker. We have been charter members of this partnership program since October 2002.
NNR/USA also abides by the Transported Asset Protection Association’s (TAPA) Freight Security Requirements. TAPA FSR sets strict physical security standards for the acceptance, handling and transferring of air, sea, and truck cargo.
- Physical access controls
- Alarm systems and video surveillance
- Personnel and procedural security
- Employee training and education
- Information and data protection
- Business recovery and resumption planning
All NNR/USA facilities and warehouses undergo in-depth Security Reviews. These assessments ensure continued compliance with all security programs and training requirements, cargo and facility protection and employee safety.
The smartest route between two points is also the most secure.
